Senior Vice President - Shared Services
Barbara Radous is senior vice president - Shared Services, responsible for Information Technology, Human Resources and Business Logistics.
Radous joined AEP in 2001. From 2007 until being appointed to her current position, she was senior vice president - Commercial Operations, responsible for energy marketing, energy trading, power projects and asset investments, market operations and commercial analysis. In 2006, she was named vice president - Commercial and Financial Analysis, responsible for overseeing mid and back office functions, including RTO & commodity settlements, portfolio and margin analysis, financial analysis, cost recovery, generation forecasting, and commercial and contract administration. Prior to that, she served as managing director - hedging and financial analysis.
Prior to joining AEP, Radous worked for a subsidiary of Enron Corp., where she worked in front, mid and back office positions that included marketing, risk management, structuring and accounting.
Radous has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. She is a member of the Finance Committee of The Childhood League's Advisory Council.
She and her husband, Kevin, have two children and reside in Gahanna, Ohio.
